About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide oversight on obligations for employee and talent related processes (statements of responsibilities, remuneration, malus and clawback, etc.)
- Ensure high quality regulatory mapping
- Challenge, assess, and implement policies from scratch
- Review 1LoD compliance approvals for employee and talent initiatives and provide feedback
- Ensure a robust, company wide employee and talent training programme
- Oversee horizon scanning for relevant geographies
- Review and challenge 1LoD review of incidents to ensure effective remediation
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
- Expertise in employee and talent obligations (accountability regimes, SMCR, EMD, MLR, COI, etc.)
- A university degree in STEM, business, or finance
- Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis
- Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
- Solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
