Register patients obtaining the necessary personal, insurance, and other data required for proper tracking and billing.
Verifies insurance coverage with carrier or employer, via payer sites and relays changes to authorization staff.
Schedules patient appointments for providers as necessary.
Answers basic insurance/ financial questions and escalates further questions to the appropriate department.
Responsible for taking payments on co-pays and outstanding balances along with keeping a balanced cash drawer.
Assist with answering patient and staff calls to help on anything needed.
