- Manage student registration, class scheduling, and maintain class lists and grade records
- Ensure integrity, accuracy, and security of all academic records
- Facilitate effective continuous student registration and Drop/Add
- Maintain up to date course schedules, catalogs, and final examination schedules
- Supervise and maintain the student management package system
- Supervise processes for articulation of transfer credits, graduation, certification, enrollment and degree verification, and production of official transcripts
- Develop a student handbook and update academic policies and procedures
- Provide advice to students, faculty, and staff on academic matters
- Interpret and enforce policies and regulations of MBRSG and ensure compliance with CAA standards
- Support quality improvements and ensure proper governance through committees and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- 5+ years’ experience in a related field preferably within an academic institution
- Wide knowledge of student management Systems

Job Overview
- The Registrar manages the whole student experience from registration (after admission) until successful graduation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with all relevant staff and units to maintain a wide approach to student experience and to ensure a high level student satisfaction.
- Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of all academic records of current and former students.
- Facilitate effective continuous student registration and Drop/Add.
- Build secure student data files and sets policy and procedure for their responsible use.
- Maintain up to date course schedules, catalogs, final examination schedules.
- Manage efficient use of classrooms through the issuing of timetables.
- Supervise and maintain the student management package system.
- Supervise the processes for the articulation of transfer credits, graduation and certification of MBRSG degrees, enrollment and degree verification, production of official transcripts, and testamurs.
- Develop a student handbook which includes a comprehensive guide to all relevant academic and School policies and procedures, and is in charge of driving the process of updating these policies and procedures.
- Provide advice to students, faculty, and staff on academic matters.
- Interpret and enforce policies and regulations of MBRSG, Boards of Studies and Examinations, and the School Council.
- Ensure compliance with the standards set by the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA) at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
- 5+ years’ experience in a related field preferably within an academic institution.
- Wide knowledge of student management Systems.
