Pay range for this position is $46.94 - $58.26/hour .

Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

This is an Hourly position.

Plus 40% premium for weekend program on top of base rate for all hours worked between 7:00pm Friday and 7:30am Monday.

• 3rd shift - $4.00/hour

This is an 11/12 Weekend Program Position

$15,000 Sign-On Bonus (external applicants)

Will float between our West-Central Illinois Market (WCIM) locations (Galesburg, Monmouth, and Kewanee)

The Core Flex I Registered Nurse provides expert, engaged nursing care aligned with their competencies, within an entity, including those with multiple campuses, within OSF HealthCare.

The Core Flex I RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients using the nursing process.

The Core Flex I RN is a highly knowledgeable, autonomous professional who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly to meet patient and organizational needs.

The Core Flex I RN role requires advanced clinical competence, informal leadership capability, and provides safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients across the care continuum in diverse environments.

This position requires working every 11 out of 12 weekends.

• Education:
• Associate degree in nursing
• Experience:
• 1 year of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Reg Nurse License in the state of Illinois
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association
• Advanced Care Life Support certification (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain flexibility in work and schedule.
• Strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making ability. 2
• Advanced assessment, analytical, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage complex patient populations across the care continuum.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or completion within two years of hire.
• Experience:
• 2 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired.
• Participation in Clinical Ladder strongly encouraged.
