Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care in accordance with individualized care plans and state regulations
• Coordinate and assign nursing duties based on staff competencies and resident needs
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, including onboarding and ongoing education
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team (physicians, therapists, social services, etc.) to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in resident condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current, active Florida RN license
• CPR certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
