Overview

This unit is dedicated to Otolaryngology, Head & Neck and Nephrology.

D3-1 provides nursing care primarily to adult patients and a selected group of hemodynamically stable pediatric patients with malignant and/or congenitally related diseases requiring complex diagnostic work-up, major complex surgery or treatment follow-up.

The Unit performs endoscopic examinations and minor procedures such as biopsies on occasion in the D3-1 treatment room.

Job Title: Staff Nurse

Reporting To: Head Nurse or as assigned.

Summary

Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standard of nursing practice and performance.

Demonstrates leadership competencies while in charge or acting as shift resource/team leader.
