Role Overview
The role provides patient care while adhering to healthcare compliance standards.
The nurse must recognize patient needs and prioritize them alongside physician-directed needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care according to standards set by physicians.
- Educate patients about care in person or over the phone.
- Follow OSHA, FDA, HIPAA, and other applicable compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Be a registered professional nurse with current licensure.
- Hold CPR, ACLS, and BCLS certifications.
- Know OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Be able to lift and position patients on an endoscopy stretcher and transport patients.
