Unit Overview

Unit: Coronary Care Unit
Patient Population: Adult Male & Female Patients
Hours of Operation: 24 Hours / 7 Days per week

Primary Patient Diagnoses

Acute Coronary Syndrome
Heart Failure without the need for Mechanical Ventilation
Post Cardiac Arrest for monitoring without need for Mechanical Ventilation
Valvular Heart Disease
Disease of the Aorta and Pericardium
Adult Congenital Cardiac Disease
Cardiac rhythm abnormalities requiring continuous monitoring or TPM/PPM, AICD insertion
Adult cardiac patient who develops worsening renal failure requiring conventional Hemodialysis
Patients diagnosed with NSTEMI with/without Acute Pulmonary Edema
Pre and Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Arterial sheath Anticoagulation (INR) Management (for arrhythmia /valve prosthesis)
Infective Endocarditis
