Role Overview
The employer is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental & Dermatology Nurse for a healthcare team.
The nurse will support dentists and dermatologists with patient care, clinical procedures, treatment preparation, and post-procedure follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and dermatologists during consultations and clinical procedures.
- Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and medical supplies.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical history.
- Assist with dental procedures, minor oral surgeries, and other dental treatments.
- Assist with dermatology and aesthetic procedures as required.
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and follow strict infection-control protocols.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and instructions.
- Administer medications, injections, and topical treatments within the scope of practice.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and report complications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients about wound care, oral care, skincare, medications, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, medical waste disposal, and adequate supplies.
