- Implement ABA Therapy: Provide direct therapy to clients based on individual treatment plans designed by a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques such as reinforcement, prompting, and teaching functional skills.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect data on client behavior, progress, and responses to interventions. Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions.
- Behavioral Intervention: Assist in managing challenging behaviors through safe and effective behavioral interventions as outlined in treatment plans.
- Client Progress Monitoring: Track and report client progress regularly to BCBAs and supervisors, providing necessary updates on any changes or challenges encountered during sessions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with families, caregivers, and other team members to ensure the implementation of consistent behavior interventions across various settings.
- Training: Participate in ongoing training and development related to ABA principles and interventions, as well as compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some positions may require a college degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
- Certification: Must have current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience: Prior experience in a behavior analysis setting or working with children/adults with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Comfortable working with individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges. Ability to collect and organize data efficiently.

- Physical Requirements: Must be able to engage in physical activity (e.g., lifting, sitting on the floor, standing) and may be required to implement behavior management techniques when necessary.
