Position overview
The Recycling Operations Facility Supervisor coordinates support mechanisms that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned recycling operations.
The position focuses on facility management, safety, environmental compliance, quality, inventory, administration, scheduling, maintenance, and production employee development.
Health and safety
- Support facility health and safety matters in coordination with regional safety support.
- Ensure environmental compliance with company and provincial policies.
- Monitor health and safety programs and report deficiencies to management and relevant safety or environmental leaders.
- Provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Operational performance
- Oversee operations in all departments and maintain negotiated production levels.
- Forecast monthly production, review equipment maintenance records, and provide accurate operational data.
- Monitor equipment needs and support effective facility maintenance.
