Job Conditions

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including the comprehension of basic safety messages, labels, and hazard communications such as waste oil, gasoline, and flammable materials.
• Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a variety of outdoor weather conditions, including rain, snow, extreme heat, and cold, for the duration of a full shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in automotive repair, vehicle dismantling, or the operation of tools and machinery, as well as familiarity with automotive parts and/or working with retail customers.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch regularly throughout the assigned work shift to perform customer care, production, and environmental and safety functions. Manual dexterity is required to handle tools, operate equipment, and maintain facility cleanliness through tasks such as mopping and sweeping. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is regularly required to perform routine functions. Sufficient vision to safely perform all job functions as described is also required.
