The resort includes guest rooms, serviced apartments, villas, a spa, fitness centre, kids club, restaurants, bars, and lounges.
Job Description
The Recreation Attendant provides warm, engaging, and authentically local personalized service to guests using the resort's facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Engage with guests and assist with towels, chaise lounge covers, chaise lounge setup, and cabana setup.
- Remove used towels and debris from pool deck areas throughout the day.
- Provide warm, personal, and detailed service in a luxury, upscale, fast-paced environment.
- Maintain pool cleanliness, setup, and ambiance for a positive guest first impression.
- Maintain knowledge of wellness and recreation services, activities, amenities, and hotel features.
- Upsell and promote wellness and recreation offers to maximize sales revenue.
- Perform opening and closing side duties and set the pool according to standards and procedures.
- Follow hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain personal appearance and hygiene standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by hotel management.
Qualifications
- At least one year's experience as a recreation attendant.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
- Availability to carry out assignments delegated by the department manager.
