Order Taker (Saudi Only)

Responsible for receiving, recording, coordinating, and following up on guest requests related to Housekeeping services, ensuring accurate and timely service delivery while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.

• Receive and accurately record guest requests for Housekeeping services via telephone, hotel systems, or other communication channels.
• Enter all requests correctly into the hotel system, including room number, guest details, preferences, and special requirements.
• Confirm request details with guests to ensure accuracy and avoid misunderstandings.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping supervisors and Room Attendants to ensure timely completion of guest requests.
• Monitor the status of requests and follow up until completion.
• Handle requests for towels, pillows, blankets, extra beds, toiletries, amenities, and other room supplies.
• Receive and coordinate maintenance requests reported by guests and communicate them to the Engineering Department.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and provide appropriate assistance or escalate issues when required.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of guest requests, calls, follow-ups, and completed services.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred.
• Previous experience in Housekeeping, Guest Services, Front Office, or a hotel environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional and courteous telephone etiquette.
• Good knowledge of hotel systems and order/request management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when recording guest requests.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and work effectively under pressure.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of hotel service standards and Housekeeping procedures.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
