Provide warm, engaging, and authentically local personalized service to guests using the resort’s recreation facilities.
Work in a luxury, upscale, and fast-paced beachfront resort environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with towels, chaise lounge covers, chaise lounge setup, and cabana setup.
- Remove used towels and debris from pool deck areas throughout the day.
- Maintain pool cleanliness, setup, and ambiance.
- Promote wellness and recreation offers to maximize sales revenue.
- Perform opening and closing duties and follow pool standards and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of recreation services, activities, amenities, and hotel services.
- Follow fire, life-safety, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain personal appearance and hygiene standards.
- Complete other reasonable duties assigned by hotel management.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a recreation attendant.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
- Availability to complete delegated department assignments.
