Savvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Records Management Analyst to support our federal client in a hybrid environment in Washington, D.C.
The ideal candidate will support enterprise records management activities across the records lifecycle, including inventory, retention, disposition, transfers, governance, and compliance.
They will also maintain records documentation, coordinate with stakeholders, ensure adherence to federal records requirements, and help improve operational efficiency, information governance, and organizational compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supporting records management activities across the full records lifecycle, including records creation, maintenance, retention, transfer, and disposition.
Conducting records inventories and assisting in maintaining records schedules, file plans, and records management documentation.
Reviewing records holdings and providing recommendations regarding records organization, retention, disposition, and compliance requirements.
Assisting with preparation and maintenance of records transfer, records disposition, and records tracking documentation.
Supporting the development, review, and maintenance of records management policies, procedures, guidance documents, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinating with program offices and organizational stakeholders to support records management initiatives and compliance activities.
Assisting with records management assessments, compliance reviews, audits, and corrective action activities.
Developing and maintaining records management reports, metrics, inventories, and status tracking information.
Providing records management guidance and support to stakeholders regarding records retention and information governance requirements.
Supporting the preparation and delivery of records management training, awareness materials, and outreach activities.
Assisting with electronic records management initiatives, including implementation, maintenance, and compliance activities.
Maintaining records management files and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
Supporting continuous process improvement initiatives related to records management, information governance, and records compliance programs.
Researching and interpreting federal records management requirements, policies, and guidance to support program objectives.
Coordinating with acquisition, programmatic, legal, financial, and administrative stakeholders as required to support records management activities.

Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience supporting records management, information management, document management, or related administrative programs
Experience supporting records lifecycle activities, including records organization, retention, disposition, and transfer activities
Experience preparing reports, documentation, correspondence, and stakeholder communications
A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-focused environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A highly motivated self-starter
Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting federal government programs
Experience supporting records management or information governance initiatives
Experience supporting policy, procedure, training, or compliance-related activities
