General Responsibilities
- Acts as the primary point of contact for staff, students, and visitors, overseeing reception operations and executing a range of administrative responsibilities to support the efficient functioning of the office, department, center, or school.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets and assists staff and visitors with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming and positive representation of the office, department, center, or school.
- Efficiently manages incoming telephone communications by answering, screening, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel, and accurately taking messages when necessary.
- Performs routine computer-based tasks and maintains organized departmental records and files to support operational efficiency.
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail, coordinates appointment scheduling, and prepares forms and correspondence as needed.
- Executes additional administrative duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team support.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing reception area that aligns with the office, department, center, or school’s brand standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Pay: $16.25 an hour
- High School diploma or GED required. Work experience may not be substituted for the education requirement.
