Role overview
S&R Group is hiring a casual Receptionist for a long-term care location in Kitchener, Ontario.
The role supports residents and families through reception, office administration, admissions, accounts, and billing.
Schedule
- The position includes day, evening, and weekend availability.
- The role includes coverage for call-ins, Christmas and New Year periods, sick leave, and vacation coverage.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily tasks and prioritize appointments in a busy office environment.
- Order supplies, process invoices, and maintain office operations.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries and refer them to the appropriate source.
- Complete monthly accommodation billing, including rate reductions.
- Oversee resident comfort trust accounts.
- Complete new resident admission contracts.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with or ability to understand the MOH LTC Act, Rate Reduction, GIS, and OAS.
- Extensive computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
