About The Role

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented **Receptionist** with a hospitality background to join our Front Office team.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth check-in and check-out experience while maintaining the highest level of service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing procedures.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, both in person and over the phone or email.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B) to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints or requests with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain an organized front desk and ensure proper documentation of daily transactions.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and special offers to guests.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and Qatar Municipality regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum **2 years of experience as a receptionist or front office associate** in a hotel or serviced apartment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and welcoming attitude.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, IDS, or equivalent).
  • Excellent multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic or additional languages is an advantage).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
