About The Role
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented **Receptionist** with a hospitality background to join our Front Office team.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth check-in and check-out experience while maintaining the highest level of service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, both in person and over the phone or email.
- Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B) to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or requests with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain an organized front desk and ensure proper documentation of daily transactions.
- Promote hotel services, amenities, and special offers to guests.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and Qatar Municipality regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum **2 years of experience as a receptionist or front office associate** in a hotel or serviced apartment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, IDS, or equivalent).
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or additional languages is an advantage).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
