RCOH SQL Developer / Database Administrator (#CJ)

· Minimum of ten years of relevant experience with aircraft carrier maintenance and operations, shipbuilding, ship repair, or related business analysis; equivalent experience with other fleet assets may be considered.

· Previous information technology development experience.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 12.0 or above and vintage Microsoft Access “accdb” databases.

· Experience maintaining, administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL Server databases and database-driven applications.

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Ability to design Microsoft Access forms and debug VBA code.

· Fundamental understanding of SUPSHIP workflow and Government acronyms used to support clear communication with project stakeholders.

· Working knowledge of software version control systems.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving ability.

· Must possess Security+ or an equivalent certification and SQL Server certification.

· Must be a U.S. citizen.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance or above.

· Project or program management experience.

· Former U.S.

Navy Chief Petty Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, or Limited Duty Officer.

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

· Experience working with or at a shipyard, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Supervisor of Shipbuilding Command (SUPSHIP), Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), or Type Commander (TYCOM).

· Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.

· Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and similar resources.

· Must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations.

· Must be able to exchange accurate information in professional communication settings.

Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, certifications, active clearance status, specialized technical qualifications, and contract requirements.
