- Support Credit Rating Analysts in assigning and monitoring credit ratings across corporates, structured finance, and sovereigns.
- Analyse financial statements, perform financial modelling, and develop forecasts to assess credit risk.
- Prepare rating committee materials and actively contribute to rating committee discussions.
- Draft credit research reports and support publication of analytical insights.
- Monitor market trends, economic developments, and industry news to assess credit quality.
- Leverage digital tools and AI driven technologies to enhance efficiency and analytical output.
- Assist with investor and issuer engagement by preparing presentations and supporting meetings.
- Continuously develop technical and professional skills through training and on the job learning.
Requirements
- Strong academic background, equivalent to a Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Fundamental understanding of fixed income markets or credit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- CFA professional qualification such as CFA highly beneficial
- Experience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferred

Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret complex data and support credit risk assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian.
- Fundamental understanding of fixed income markets or credit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Proactive team player with a continuous learning mindset.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferred.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes.
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices.
Education

About the Team
- Our Ratings & Research Support (RRS) team is responsible for supporting the credit rating process and ensuring high quality analytical output across Moody’s Investors Service.
