About the opportunity
ACCIONA is seeking a RAM Principal Engineer to establish and deliver reliability, availability, and maintainability strategy across the full asset lifecycle.
The role supports various ACCIONA M&E projects and reports to the Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance Manager.
The position can be based in South Australia, Victoria, or New South Wales.
Key accountabilities
- Guide design, procurement, construction, and commissioning decisions.
- Represent the organisation as technical authority for RAM.
- Provide mentoring, governance, and direction across the discipline.
- Manage complex system design from concept through validation.
- Resolve design conflicts to meet performance and regulatory standards.
- Apply RAM principles to improve maintainability and availability.
- Lead value engineering and whole-of-life assessments.
- Oversee Design Controls and Safety in Design compliance.
- Lead technical problem solving across cost, time, and quality constraints.
- Mentor engineers on systems thinking and innovation.
