What You Will Do

• Review product specifications and research test methods.
• Instrument products, acquire service-condition data, and prepare test specimens and prototype parts.
• Set up and perform experiments, install instruments, and connect instrumentation wiring.
• Transfer liquid cryogens and analyze test data to identify critical events.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures and prepare simulation bench tests when required.
• Schedule and manage test programs and document methods and results in technical reports.
• Develop and manage DVP&R documents based on DFMEA outputs.
• Identify testing and validation requirements and develop test protocols with limited information.
• Propose design changes based on test results.
• Support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance with interdepartmental teams.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering is required; mechanical engineering is preferred.
• At least three years of relevant engineering and test experience is required.
• Experience with experiment methodology and laboratory procedures is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on laboratory capability are required.
• Understanding of heat transfer, vacuum insulation, and fluid flow is required.
