The Opportunity

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build and maintain modern React applications using clean, reusable components and strong JavaScript skills.
• Define and follow UI architecture, folder structure, and coding standards.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs for data fetching, caching, and error handling.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows, including token and session handling.
• Apply browser fundamentals involving DOM behavior, events, storage, cookies, caching, and basic security.
• Improve UI performance by optimizing rendering, reducing bundle size, and managing memory efficiently.
• Debug and resolve UI, state, API integration, performance, and browser-related issues.
• Support and mentor junior developers while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Live the company's safety and integrity values through responsible actions and care for colleagues and the business.

Your Background

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 10 years of experience building React-based web applications in an enterprise environment.
• Strong JavaScript skills focused on clean code and maintainable UI structure.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, error handling, and secure token and session management.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL, such as Apollo or a similar framework, and modern state management such as Redux Toolkit or React Query.
• Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, including the DOM, events, storage, cookies, and caching, plus basic web security.
• Proven troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
