The Opportunity
Support global sourcing initiatives in collaboration with the global category manager.
Transform category strategies into actions and collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders.
Ensure procurement activities comply with HVDC business strategies and corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Engage in projects and execute strategies defined during the tendering phase.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support strategic sourcing and drive RFQs and RFPs for business requirements and project execution while meeting budget, quality, and lead-time targets.
- Manage supplier response times and internal schedules and conduct benchmark studies for sourcing initiatives when required.
- Support category strategy implementation, savings, efficiency improvements, and development of the category supply base.
- Align negotiations, quotations, proposals, quotation comparisons, and project costs with strategy and budget targets.
- Maintain supplier relationships and support continuous improvement across total cost, quality, lead time, and capacity.
- Upload and maintain standard and frame agreements in SAP Ariba and monitor contract expiration dates.
- Ensure suppliers comply with required laws, regulations, standards, certificates, and directives.
