R&D Engineer Hardware

Develop circuit test plans of testing.

Understand system level architectural design of broadband communication SoCs.

Special Skill Requirements:

Analog circuit design;

CMOS device operating regions & characteristics;

Common circuit topologies used in CMOS analog circuits, particularly in circuits running at 1 GHz and above;

Analog circuit design trade-offs and parameters (e.g. noise & distortion, frequency-response, mismatch, bandwidth, stability or settling limitations);

Signal processing in analog filters, analog to digital converters, digital to analog converters and feedback controlled loops;

Simulation tools, custom layout tools and common lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer or similar).

Highly Desired Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the specific ability to speak to various technical and management levels.

Proactive, collaborative and creative approach to innovation, technical development and consensus facilitation to influence optimal project results.

Excellent time and task management, and interpersonal skills.
