About the role
The Quantum Engineer will advance automation of device calibration for multi-qubit processors.
The role converts manual qubit measurement routines into robust automated calibration workflows.
The work is intended to increase processor uptime and measurement throughput.
Role responsibilities
- Characterise atom spin-qubit devices, including tune-up, readout optimisation, stability measurements and qubit performance assessment.
- Design, implement and maintain automated calibration and tune-up workflows.
- Research, evaluate and integrate third-party control and calibration tools into the measurement and control stack.
- Develop and maintain reliable, reusable measurement and data analysis code.
- Analyse experimental datasets and extract performance metrics against defined requirements.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to integrate calibration workflows with the full control stack.
