Key skills for this role
Experience in designing control methods for high-fidelity quantum operations
Strong background in the theory of light-matter interactions and modelling quantum dynamics in software
A proven track record of collaboration with experimental research groups and/or the quantum hardware industry
Must-have Skills (in addition to the above):
Experience with circuit-level quantum noise models and benchmarking of quantum operations
Proficient in writing scientific code, e.g. using Python
PhD in quantum computing, quantum control or similar
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with published results in the field of research.
This role can be based in Hamburg or worked remotely, but you must be based in Germany for this position.
