Position Overview
Quantity Surveyor (QS) position within an engineering consultancy team in Dubai, UAE.
The role supports construction or engineering consultancy projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience in construction or engineering consultancy projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and measurement of works.
- Experience reviewing contracts, variations, payment applications, and interim payment certificates.
- Knowledge of tendering, procurement, cost control, and project financial management.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction contract administration is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Tools and Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimations, BOQ preparation, and measurement of works.
- Review contracts, variations, payment applications, and interim payment certificates.
- Support tendering, procurement, cost control, and project financial management activities.
- Provide quantity surveying support for construction and engineering consultancy projects.
