Bin Abed Consultancy is seeking a Project Engineer to manage luxury villa construction and engineering processes at various project sites.
The role oversees projects from inception to completion, with responsibility for quality control, safety, and adherence to timelines.
Location and Position Type
- The position is based in Dubai and involves work at project sites.
- The position type is full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage luxury villa site construction from inception to completion.
- Supervise project engineers and ensure adherence to quality standards and project schedules.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and conduct regular site inspections.
- Review and approve technical drawings, construction plans, and related documents.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation for cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare progress reports, manage client communications, and address concerns.
- Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least six years of experience in site engineering.
- Experience managing and supervising construction teams on large-scale, complex residential projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and local building codes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills for managing diverse teams.
- Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with luxury interiors and high-end finishing works is desirable.
- Ability to manage client expectations and provide solutions to on-site challenges is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are desirable.
