Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets
- Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization
- Manage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and services
- Source suppliers and subcontractors and obtain competitive quotations
- Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms
- Issue purchase orders and track procurement status
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery
- Manage subcontract agreements, variations, and payment certifications
- Verify quantities executed on site and certify completed works
- Maintain procurement records, cost reports, and commercial documentation
- Support project management with budget forecasting and financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration
- Experience in supplier sourcing, procurement planning, and commercial negotiations
- Familiarity with UAE construction market rates and procurement practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software

Required Qualifications

- A UAE driving license is an advantage.
