We are looking for a talented and experienced
Quantity Surveyor
to join our growing team.
If you have a strong background in civil engineering, construction estimation, and project cost management, this could be a great opportunity to build your career with a professional and respected company.
We are searching for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling the commercial and financial aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate should be confident in preparing BOQs, handling project estimates, reviewing drawings, managing project costs, and coordinating with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
This role is ideal for professionals who have experience working on building construction, infrastructure, residential, commercial, or contracting projects and are looking for long-term career growth in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and project cost estimates
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Monitor project budgets and control construction costs
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate subcontractor quotations
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and suppliers
- Handle variation orders, progress claims, and payment certifications
- Conduct site measurements and verify completed work
- Maintain accurate commercial and project documentation
- Support procurement and contract administration activities
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and scheduled timelines
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction field
Strong understanding of estimation, cost control, tendering, and contracts
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
