- Prepare detailed cost estimates for steel fabrication and erection works
- Perform accurate quantity take offs from structural drawings and fabrication shop drawings
- Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities to prepare competitive bids
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to determine cost effective options
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries for management
- Identify potential cost variations and report financial risks proactively
- Prepare and review contractual documents, variation orders, and claims
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project specifications, and local regulations
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to confirm financial and contractual matters
- Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and fabrication teams to ensure alignment with project costs
- Conduct site visits to verify progress, validate quantities, and assess variations in actual work
