Role Overview
Quantity Surveyor position for a major potable water transmission pipeline project.
The project covers potable water pipelines, water supply and distribution networks, and associated infrastructure works.
The role is advertised for Oman.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Relevant Quantity Surveyor experience on potable water pipeline or water infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and site measurements.
- Experience with pipeline excavation, bedding, pipe laying, backfilling, compaction, and road reinstatement quantities.
- Experience with water pipelines, valves, chambers, fittings, and associated infrastructure works.
- Hands-on experience with RA bills, interim payment applications, subcontractor billing, and quantity verification.
- Strong knowledge of variations, rate analysis, claims, and final accounts.
- Ability to coordinate with Site Engineers, the Construction Manager, Planning, and QA/QC teams.
- Oman or NAMA Water Services project experience is highly preferred.
