Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The role manages commercial and cost-control activities for interior design, fit-out, joinery, and construction projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, detailed measurements, cost estimates, tender documentation, and project budgets.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and prepare regular cost reports.
- Evaluate variations and claims and support commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, project management, engineering, and site teams to verify quantities and cost implications.
- Prepare payment applications, variation orders, claims, valuation reports, and final accounts.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations, compare commercial proposals, review invoices, and verify work progress and quantities for payment certification.
