The Quality Technician works collaboratively with the Quality Manager, Quality Engineers, Production Managers, Process Engineers, Shift Supervisors and members of the Leadership team to perform inspections of all parts and trials.
The Quality Technician is the recognized expert on all aesthetics and measurement requirements for inspections.
The Quality Technician is responsible for all quality documentation in IQMS as well as any physical paperwork.
Additionally, the Quality Technician will assess trials, participate in corrective action meetings, attend meetings on new product development, participate in customer conferences, initiate lot traceability and all other aspects of quality that may be required.
The Quality technician will occasionally also work on the production floor to perform QL duties.
The Quality Technician will also work in the rework area, if needed.
