About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Develop, review, and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents
- Measure and value completed work and prepare interim and final payment applications
- Monitor project costs, manage variations, and analyse cost impacts of changes
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate claims for additional costs or time
- Administer contracts and subcontracts, including reviewing and agreeing on payment applications and final accounts
- Support procurement processes and evaluate supplier/subcontractor bids
- Maintain accurate project records and commercial documentation
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective cost control
- Provide regular cost reports and commercial advice to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor, preferably in construction/infrastructure/aviation
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, NEC)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in cost control, measurement, and contract administration
- Good negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite
