Key Responsibilities Include
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintaining certifications
- Preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
โข Defining Critical Control Points (CCPs)
- Managing defects and driving continuous improvement
โข Conducting Root Cause Analysis
- Reducing rejection rates and customer complaints
- Preparing weekly quality reports, including defect rate, Cost of Quality (COQ), and rework levels
โข Overseeing Supplier Quality Management
- Monitoring the quality of local and imported materials
- Developing and managing supplier scorecards
- Training production teams on quality standards
- Promoting a strong โQuality Firstโ culture
- Collaborating with Production and Supply Chain to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, preferably with wood and metal.
- Strong experience with ISO systems and quality tools
- Good knowledge of painting, welding, cutting, and assembly processes
- Ability to professionally address quality issues and drive corrective actions
