Key skills for this role
Inspect and measure race car components, sub-components and tooling parts using a range of inspection methods and technologies.
Verify incoming materials and components from suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements.
Conduct detailed quality checks prior to components being released to build or the next stage of production.
Accurately record and transact inspection activities within company systems and quality processes.
Support the delivery of the highest quality standards required in a high-performance racing environment.
A strong engineering background within precision engineering, manufacturing or a similar technical environment.
Experience working within a quality inspection function measuring precision-engineered components.
Knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience using modern inspection equipment and software, with exposure to systems such as PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, GOM Inspect, Faro/Power Inspect or similar being advantageous.
Strong IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems, including MRP or equivalent manufacturing software.
Highly detail-oriented with a methodical and accurate approach to work.
Able to remain focused and deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive attitude towards changing priorities and workloads.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
