About the role

The Quality Inspector inspects raw materials, work in progress, and finished products for compliance with standards, customer specifications, and company requirements.

The role supports manufacturing operations by identifying defects, maintaining quality records, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Quality management and inspection

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with standards, regulations, customer specifications, and internal requirements.
  • Establish quality objectives, policies, procedures, inspection standards, and quality control processes.
  • Conduct and oversee inspections, testing, audits, and process reviews.
  • Document non-conformities, quality issues, and customer complaints and ensure root-cause analysis and CAPA.

Reporting and team guidance

  • Monitor quality performance, KPIs, and trends and prepare reports with corrective-action and risk-mitigation recommendations.
  • Lead and guide QA/QC personnel through training, performance evaluation, appraisals, KPI monitoring, and development plans.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, warehouse, supply chain, and other functions to resolve quality issues.

Supplier and document control

  • Manage supplier and vendor quality through evaluations, factory inspections, audits, performance assessments, and follow-up.
  • Maintain SOPs, inspection reports, test protocols, audit reports, CAPA records, calibration records, and other QMS documentation with traceability.

Improvement and compliance

  • Support new product development, process improvements, certification activities, and internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Qualifications and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–5 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in textile, technical textile, manufacturing, or industrial production environments is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and measuring instruments.

Required skills

  • Quality inspection and testing, quality control techniques, inspection procedures, and manufacturing processes.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical ability, documentation, reporting, teamwork, and communication.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, quality documentation systems, inspection tools, measuring instruments, and QMS.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and basic data reporting.
