- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Analyze quality data and identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement
- Investigate customer complaints and non conformance issues using root cause analysis tools
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and inspection records
- Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits when required
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other industry specific requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Train employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- 8 10 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance
- Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality related software

Job Summary
- The Quality Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure products comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
- The engineer works closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Investigate customer complaints and non conformance issues using root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and inspection records.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits when required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other industry specific requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Train employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 8 10 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance (experience requirements may vary by employer).
- Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality related software.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, PPAP, APQP, and MSA.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and auditing techniques.
- Certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is an advantage.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
