Position Title: Quality Engineer
Various position levels for each position:
Junior-level – 2-3 years of experience
Mid-level – 4-8 years of experience
Senior-level – 10+ years of experience
Location
- Huntsville, AL (Hybrid/On-Site preferred, possibly remote) Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
- CODEplus is seeking a Quality Engineer to support software quality assurance, testing, and continuous improvement efforts supporting mission-critical Army tactical systems.
- The selected candidate will help ensure software reliability, performance, security, compliance, and operational readiness across Agile and DevSecOps modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quality assurance strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation procedures
- Support automated and manual testing activities across software development and DevSecOps pipelines
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with software developers, DevSecOps engineers, systems engineers, and cybersecurity teams to identify and resolve defects
- Integrate quality gates, automated testing, and continuous validation into CI/CD pipelines
- Support requirements traceability, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
