Role overview
The Quality Engineer will support quality assurance, process improvement, and product quality throughout the development and manufacturing lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and inspection standards.
- Monitor product and process quality and identify risks, defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Support quality plans, inspection methods, and control plans.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in design, process, and product reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to reduce defects and improve product reliability.
- Support supplier quality assessments, issue resolution, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare quality reports, technical documentation, and improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of quality management principles, quality control methods, and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA.
