Role Overview
Quality Control Intern based in Kolkata, India.
The internship lasts up to 3 months and offers hands-on exposure to quality control, product inspections, vendor coordination, and leather manufacturing processes.
The role starts immediately and uses a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks and product inspections as required.
- Visit leather tanneries for quality-control purposes.
- Coordinate with relevant teams and vendors to maintain quality standards.
- Record and maintain inspection-related information using Excel.
- Identify quality issues and report them to the relevant team.
- Travel to different locations across India for inspections when required.
- Support the team in maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Learn and understand quality-control processes, inspection procedures, and leather production standards.
Requirements
- Based in Kolkata or willing to work from Kolkata.
- Comfortable travelling to different locations across India for inspections.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
