Quality Control Inspector - Level 2

We are seeking a CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector to support an upcoming turnaround project in Fort McMurray, Alberta ASAP .

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality inspections on welding and related construction activities, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

• Perform daily quality inspections of welding, pipeline, facility, mechanical, and turnaround activities.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate and witness quality testing activities, including NDE, hydrostatic testing, and material verification.
• Ensure materials are properly documented, traceable, and compliant prior to installation.
• Maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), including hold points, witness points, and client inspections.
• Identify non-conformances and assist with corrective actions.
• Verify weld documentation, material traceability, and turnover records.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, and project closeout packages.
• Participate in client, regulatory, and third-party inspections and audits.

• CWB Welding Inspector Level 2 certification is required.
• Current CSTS, WHIMIS2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, and other industry-required safety certifications.
• Experience performing quality inspections on pipeline, facility, industrial, oil and gas, or turnaround projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection, construction quality processes, NDE, pressure testing, and material traceability.
