Position Details
Quality Control Associate in the Quality and Regulatory department, reporting to the Quality Control Team Lead.
One vacancy is available at the Traferox facility in Mississauga.
The position is a temporary full-time 12-month contract.
The schedule is 37.5 hours per week on day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Compensation
- The salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 annually.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming quality activities with production and review, approve, and archive inspection records.
- Inspect, test, and sample materials, parts, and products throughout manufacturing for defects and specification deviations.
- Reject and quarantine unacceptable parts and initiate nonconformance material reports when required.
- Apply quality-system controls for document records, traceability, nonconforming materials, and deviations.
- Review and approve batch records, production documentation, and quality-control records.
- Prepare product-release documentation and support shipment and distribution record activities.
- Escalate abnormal goods, low yields, recurring rejects, product failure modes, and customer complaints.
