Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
A technical diploma combined with significant, progressive experience in manufacturing quality leadership will be considered.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, including hands on involvement with quality assurance, product and process control, and cross-functional problem resolution.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated responsibility for team development, performance management, and day to day quality decision making.
Professional quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) are strongly preferred.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement training or certification is considered an asset.
Advanced level of computer skills (Microsoft products).
Knowledge and use of Power BI and AI tools is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria.
Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, corrective action processes, FMEA, and structured problem solving approaches.
Demonstrated ability to analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, assess risk, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency with computer based systems and tools, including ERP workflows, reporting tools, and standard Microsoft applications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
