dxesk is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join its engineering team.
The internship is intended for students or recent graduates interested in software testing, quality assurance processes, and application functionality, performance, and usability.
What You Will Do
- Execute manual test cases to ensure application functionality and quality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and accurately.
- Re-test fixed issues to verify resolutions.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test cases and test documentation.
- Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing under guidance.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA discussions.
- Help ensure applications meet usability, performance, and reliability standards.
- Support API testing and basic backend validation when required.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and testing strategies.
- Learn and apply QA tools and best practices in real projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development, software testing, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document issues and test results clearly.
- Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and eagerness to learn QA methodologies and tools.
