Role Overview
Work on a contract basis to ensure software products meet defined quality standards through systematic testing and validation.
Collaborate with development teams to identify defects, verify fixes, and maintain reliability across platforms.
Payout
- The stated payout is $25 to $60 per hour.
Location
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document test cases for software functionality and performance.
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product requirements.
- Automate test cases to improve regression testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software testability.
- Verify fixes and support product reliability and user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans.
- Knowledge of Jira or similar bug-tracking systems.
- Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing software issues and verifying fixes.
