Role Overview
Contract Quality Assurance Engineer position focused on ensuring software products meet defined quality standards through systematic testing and validation.
Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and verify fixes while maintaining reliability across platforms.
Location
- Remote role with work-from-anywhere arrangements.
Compensation
- Payout is $25-$60 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document test cases for software functionality and performance.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using tracking systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements.
- Automate test cases to improve regression testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software component testability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans.
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as Jira or similar tools.
- Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose software issues and verify fixes.
